This is a collaborative project by Dr. Kathryn Laing, lecturer in English Literature in Ireland, and myself, exploring traces of Hannah Lynch in Greece. Hannah Lynch (1859-1904) was an Irish writer and cultural commentator who published novels, short fiction, travel writing, translations and literary reviews. Her travels to Greece between 1885 and 1887 included sojourns in Tinos and Athens and she visited again for a few months in 1902. Her journeys in Greece inspired two novels, a short story, and four articles.
